Sheet Metal Worker
Location: Chouteau Oklahoma
Pay: $14 $17/hr
Hours: 6:00 AM 4:00 PM Monday to Friday
Job Type: Temp to Hire
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Worker to assist in constructing and assembling prefabricated metal buildings. This role involves installing and securing sheet metal components while ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Construct and assemble prefabricated metal buildings.
- Install and secure sheet metal components including siding and roofing.
- Utilize carpentry skills to efficiently work with metal studs.
- Perform ironworking tasks as needed.
- Follow safety standards and building codes.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on schedule.
- Safely operate and maintain tools and equipment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sheet metal work particularly with siding or roofing.
- Carpentry skills focused on working with metal studs.
- Ironworking experience is a major plus.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to highquality workmanship.
- Excellent problemsolving skills; ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor including lifting heavy materials.
- Punctuality and reliability are crucial.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification or training in sheet metal work carpentry or a related field.
- Previous experience in constructing prefabricated metal buildings.
- Knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations.
