Our client a leading manufacturing company is looking for a topnotch candidate to join their firm.
Supplier Development for Export:
- Conduct research on potential suppliers examining data related to their products production capacity and quality standards.
- Cultivate a competitive network of suppliers.
- Facilitate the arrangement and assessment of samples at the suppliers factory.
- Support local suppliers focusing on quality issues to gain Panasonic approval and ensure stability for mass production.
Support for Importing Materials and Parts:
- Handle transactions related to shipping documentation including invoices packing lists bills of lading and airway bills.
- Manage the PurchasingSalesInventory (PSI) process which includes receiving purchase orders issuing purchase orders arranging shipping customs clearance stock control invoicing and coordinating deliveries to factories.
- Streamline transactional and logistical processes.
Customer Account Management:
- Organize shipments based on customer purchase orders.
- Address any salesrelated issues including quality delivery and payment concerns.
- Propose strategies to enhance sales performance and identify growth opportunities.
Team Coaching and Support:
- Assist team leaders in managing team tasks and coaching subordinates to achieve their objectives when necessary.
- Additional tasks as assigned by the Manager.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience in import/export procurement or purchasing roles; fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
Preferred experience in production manufacturing or trading companies.
Experience in supplier evaluation.
Familiarity with trading operations and basic quality management.
Willingness to visit suppliers (factories) frequently (12 times per week).
Proficient in English communication; Japanese language skills are a plus.
Strong communication and analytical abilities.
Selfmotivated with a desire to enhance trading business skills.
Proficient in MS Office particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
