Report To: Project Manager

About the Company: A renowned HR Boutique Consulting firm based in Lagos Nigeria.

The Company is seeking to engage the service of an experienced Project Manager to plan and execute its regular annual Conference.

Key Objective: The Operations Manager will ensure that all logistical aspects of the event both physical and virtual are running smoothly. S/he will oversee venue setup AV registration and virtual platform management.

Responsibilities:
Oversee the logistical aspects of the conference: Ensure that all aspects of the physical and virtual setup are organized and executed smoothly.
Work closely with the venue to ensure that all necessary arrangements are in place including the room setup.
Manage the virtual platform: Ensure that the virtual platform is functioning properly and that participants have a seamless experience.
Handle attendee registration: Oversee the registration process providing support to attendees and ensuring a smooth checkin experience.
Manage onsite operations: Address issues that arise during the event and ensuring that everything runs smoothly.
Collaborate closely with the marketing team to ensure that the conference is wellpromoted and that attendees have a positive experience.
Providing postevent support: Assist with any postevent tasks such as collecting feedback from attendees and preparing a final report.
Analyzing the event to identify areas where the operations could be improved for future conferences.


Requirements

Requirements:
First Degree in any discipline from a reputable institution.
3 years of experience in event marketing operations management
Strong logistical planning problemsolving and coordination skills
Must be able to juggle multiple tasks and work with a plan
Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
Good organizational and interpersonal skills

KPIs:
Smooth setup and execution (minimal to zero operational disruptions).
Efficient registration process (average checkin time <5 minutes).
Positive feedback on logistics from 80% of attendees.
