Job Description
Job Title: Field Maintenance Engineer
Salary:
Recruitment Fee: 15.0%
We are currently recruiting for a Field Maintenance Engineer specializing in Water Mist Suppression Systems. If you are a technically competent individual with a solid background in fire suppression systems this could be the perfect role for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance Visit Planning: Ensure all necessary equipment and service kits are on the works van before visiting customer sites. Liaise with the office for additional supplies if needed.
- Customer Service: Maintain professional relationships with customers and their staff while representing Fireworks.
- Maintenance Work: Perform all maintenance and repairs thoroughly and safely following service instructions.
- Paperwork: Complete all job paperwork accurately via hard copy or tablet/iPad ensuring timely submission to the office.
- Call Out Duties: Respond promptly to callouts and keep designated callout dates free from other commitments.
- Service Vehicle: Maintain the company vehicle in good condition perform daily/weekly checks and report any issues to the office.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all work equipment including ladders PAT testing and calibrations is in good condition.
- Purchasing: Use the company credit card for workrelated purchases and maintain necessary receipts and records.
- Training and Development: Complete all assigned training courses and maintain required certifications including CSCS cards.
- Workshop and Stores Management: Use equipment safely and maintain a tidy work environment. Report any stock usage to the stores team.
- QHSE Compliance: Follow all quality health safety and environmental policies. Report incidents or safety concerns immediately.
Requirements
MustHaves:
- Technical Competence: Experience in similar field engineer roles with knowledge of water mist fire suppression systems.
- Electrical Qualifications: Qualified to at least Level 3 in electrical engineering with an 18th Edition qualification being highly desirable.
- Security Clearance: Ability to pass Enhanced Level 1 Security Clearance due to work within custodial establishments.
