Job Description
Large international company is looking to add a staff accountant to their team due to growth.
Candidates will require 4 years of corporate accounting experience with GL monthend close financial reporting and strong in Excel.
*This position is onsite 5 days/week in Miami*
Duties & responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

Duties & responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
- Participate in all aspects of the monthly financial close process
- Prepare/review journal entries and ensure entries include valid supporting doents
- Ensure general ledger account roll forwards reconciliations and yses are completed in accordance with company policies and on time
- ist in the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules
- ist in the research of financial statement variances
- Execute on improvements to the monthend close process
- Execute internal control policies and procedures to ensure delivery of reliable financial statements
- Other duties as igned
Required Ss and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- 3 years of experience
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
- Experience working with large reputable ERP systems.
- Well organized with excellent written and oral communication ss
- Attention to detail
- Proven ytical ss
- Ability to deliver quality work on tight deadlines with solid organization and prioritysetting ss.
- Strong work ethic with a rollup your sleeves mentality.
- Comes with a mindset of continuous improvement and is comfortable with building/rebuilding processes from scratch and doenting the procedures along the way.
- Collaborative approach and focuses on the customers’ needs
- Be highly datadriven with strong ss to manage and yze big amounts of information through complex formulas pivot tables and any other tools that can maximize efficiency.
Preferred Ss and Experience:
- Master’s degree in accounting strongly preferred but not required
- CPA preferred
- Experience at Big 4/Big 8 companies preferred but not required.
- Experience working for publicly traded global/multinational companies preferred but not required.
- Experience engaging in accounting duties in different currencies preferred but not required.
- Preferably familiar with statutory filings and international accounting practices and be able to prepare financial reports to comply with the diverse corporate tax laws and accounting standards of different countries as well as for auditing purposes.
