Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee nursing staff in the delivery of highquality emergency and urgent care services.
- Coordinate patient care ensuring that all team members are compliant with NHS protocols and guidelines.
- Manage and mentor nursing staff providing support training and performance evaluations.
- Ensure effective communication within the team and with other healthcare professionals.
- Monitor and maintain standards of patient care ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
- Participate in the development and implementation of patient care initiatives.
- Address and resolve any issues or concerns regarding patient care and team performance.
- Contribute to strategic planning and operational management of nursing services.
- Stay updated with the latest practices technologies and regulations in emergency healthcare.
Essential Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse with valid professional certification.
- Proven leadership and management ss within a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of emergency care protocols and practices.
- Effective communication and interpersonal ss.
- Ability to work under pressure and make critical decisions in emergencies.
Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in emergency or urgent care.
- Experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a nursing capacity.
- Background in ambulance services or prehospital care preferred.
