Days:Position will be based out of 1331 E. Wyoming Avenue Philadelphia PA 19124 or possibly TUH Main Campus but not likelyJob SummaryThis is a financial counseling position but they will mainly be doing insurance verification. Provides financial credit debt management counseling and education services to patients. Utilizes alternative means for obtaining coverage for uninsured or underinsured patients. Responsible for performing complex insurance verification and eligibility determinations as well as varied administrative and highly responsible clerical functions of a sensitive nature including complex investigative and problemsolving activities in support of minimizing the hospitals bad debt risk. **The manager is looking for someone who is flexible and willing to participate in any projects where we may need their istance**Requirements Education High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required) Experience 2 Years experience as a financial counselor or related role in a healthcare environment (Required)5 Years experience in a clerical role (Required) General Experience and knowledge of hospital registration and third party billing and regulations. (Required)General Experience in bilingual Spanish and English communication (Preferred) Insurance verification and registration experience (Hospital)
