Job Description
Position: Certified Surgical Technologist(CST)
Start Date: 12/16/2024
Duration: 13 weeks
Location: Mt. Pleasant MI 48858
Shift Type/Shift Times/Hours/Day: Days 10
Shift Notes: variable shifts of 10 hours or 8hour days (40hour Guarantee)
Weekend Requirements: For oncall
OnCall Requirements: Oncall on nights weekends and potentially holidays

Traveler Policy: Candidates Permanent Address (Facility will not consider local candidates 35mile radius restriction)
Further Specifics:
- Nonbillable Hours: 12 hours of initial hours
- OT/Holiday/Call back Markups: 1.1x Regular rates
- Extension Discount: $1/hr on the initial extension.
- Provides perioperative care of surgical patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
- Assures the physical environment is appropriately prepared before patient arrival.
- Assists RN with developing plan of care. Follows procedures to ensure patient and employee safety.
- Type of Cases: Cases are GI Gen Ortho Spine GYN Urology Podiatry and Csections primarily. No robotic cases
- 2 years of OR experience Required
- Endo Experience Preferred
- Travel Experience Preferred
- NBSTSA Preferred

- References NOT required.
- A skills checklist completed within one year of application for RN specialties is required. All other professions outside of Nursing are not required but preferred.
- Michigan license verification is required for nurses. Please provide LARA and Nursys; if there is a license hit it would be in the travelers best interest to provide a writeup of what happened for the managers review.
- Physical copies of certifications are only required in the profile if listed above.
- Fulltime employees are not eligible for contract hire within six months of employment.
