Job Description
As a network technician you will work for aforwardthinking internet service provider constantly challenging traditional data centers with innovative solutions. Their services cater to both individuals and businesses and are rapidly expanding in the market.As a Network Technician you will work with both hardware and software focusing on planning and maintaining high levels of IT security. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited tomanaging monitoring and maintaining networks. The role is flexible requiring you to work both independently and in teams. Its important that you are eager to learn new technologies and bring a creative mindset to the job.
You will be working with platforms based on hardware from vendors such as Cisco Huawei Dell and Nimble as well as virtual environments like VMware HyperV and OpenStack. Therefore experience with similar systems is valuable and you should be ready to take the next step in your career.
Your future work tasks
- Managing and maintaining network infrastructure
- Monitoring network performance and troubleing issues
- Ensuring high levels of IT security in network operations
- Supporting both hardware and software in cloud environments
- Collaborating with crossfunctional teams to implement solutions
- Updating and optimizing network configurations
- Learning and integrating new technologies and tools
These tasks will give you the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on cuttingedge technology.
We are looking for someone who:
- has at least25 years of doented experience working in a similar role
- has experience in troubleing large network environments
- has basic knowledge of virtualization (VMware HyperV OpenStack)
- is experienced working withRouting & Switching or equivalent education/experience
- is experienced in Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI)
- is experienced in network security
- is uent in English
Prefered Qualifications:
- Experience in load balancing
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) for Data Center or equivalent experience/education
- Programming ss especially Python and/or Ansible
- Fluency in Swedish
