Howard Universitys Office of Chief Financial Officer is seeking a Senior Director and Project Manager to lead crossfunctional initiatives focused on transforming financial accounting systems and business processes. This includes areas such as Workday Core Financials revenue management expenses grant management procurement strategic sourcing and more. This high visibility role involves planning leading and executing strategic initiatives across the Finance Technology Domain. You will oversee the product lifecycle of Workday Financials at the University guiding crossfunctional teams to optimize its usage along with other technologies like Raisers Edge our fundraising platform. Success in this role requires the ability to synthesize information think critically collaborate effectively and communicate with senior leadership. Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Oversee the daytoday delivery of technologyenabled financial accounting transformation including project intake stakeholder management and alignment of financial management ytics and reporting.
• Lead multiple initiatives of varying size and complexity to meet organizational needs including transforming and configuring business processes to enhance workers (user) experience.
• Support pre and post launch activities including roadmap planning monitoring & implementing feature releases training and change management.
• Supervise a team of 45 direct reports focusing on integrations feature enhancements optimization of business processes reporting and ytics.
• Provide training and support to endusers to ensure that reports dashboards and other ytics tools are being used effectively to support decisionmaking across the University. Howard University 2 The ideal candidate will have/be:
• A strong understanding of higher education business processes project management approaches and all phases of the project lifecycle.
• Experience in leading project engagements staff development internal financial controls business process ysis and financial business systems
• Business partnering with strong written and verbal communication ss including the ability to build senior level relationships and act as a trusted advisor to implement scalable Workday products and solutions for finance leadership.
• Initiativetaking inquisitive and ytical; makes recommendations using acquired data and ulative experience.
• Be an agile learner; able to enhance personal professional and business growth through acquiring new knowledge and experiences; applies experiences to generate solutions to organizational challenges.

Qualifications and Education Requirements: To be considered for this position you must minimally meet the knowledge ss and abilities listed below.

• Workday Finance expertise or knowledge and hands on experience with financial Software as a Service (SaaS) platforms.
• Knowledge operating in a Product Delivery Model and management odologies and experience managing information technology resources.
• Bachelors degree in information technology accounting finance computer science or related field with at least 10 years of relevant work experience.
• Advanced verbal and written communication ss and comfortable presenting to Executive Leadership
• Ability to elish and maintain respectful and collaborative working relationships with staff faculty students and stakeholders.
