Microbiology Lab Technician

Our client is a Minnesota company who manufactures and markets many branded consumer products. Their history dates to back the mid 1800s.

The Microbiology Lab Technician will be responsible for

• Facilitating ytical testing
• Providing support and flexibility related to the ysis of samples in the lab
• Doent results and review data
• Investigate any technical discrepancies
• Develop a strong knowledge of the ytical ods being used to yze samples

Salary: $23/hr (long term contract)

Schedule: 40 hrs MF OT and weekends as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree Food Science Microbiology or related field Required!
• 13 years of Previous experience in Microbiology
• Knowledge of microbiological plating techniques
• Basic lab ss aseptic technique pipetting and serial dilutions
• Knowledge of laboratory quality systems statistics and doent control ISO 17025 experience Preferred!
• Ability to manually calculate ytical test results
• Strong knowledge and background of ytical instrumentation
• Ss to be successful Positive Attitude Ability to coordinate multiple tasks Problem Solver Flexible and Adaptable Excellent written and verbal communication ss
• Proficient with MSOffice Word Excel
• Collaborate Team Player
• Must be authorized to work in the US for any employer
