Job Description

Please Note: This is a Hybrid position. But the selected candidate must be able to work onsite at any of the four locations: Woodlawn MD Frederick MD Durham NC or Lakewood Colorado.

Job Description:
We are seeking a mid to SeniorLevel ServiceNow Administrator to join our team and support our Federal client.
The ServiceNow Administrator will be responsible for managing the ServiceNow platform with a focus on collecting software enhancement requirements implementing and configuring the ServiceNow Enterprise platform and providing daytoday monitoring and user support within the Enterprise Service Desk environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and will be able to collaborate with stakeholders to deliver enhancements that improve platform functionality and efficiency.
The position can be based at any of the four locations: Woodlawn MD Frederick MD Durham NC or Lakewood CO. The qualified candidate should have strong ytical problemsolving and communication ss with sharp attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
Requirement Gathering:
  • Work with stakeholders to collect and doent software enhancement requirements for the ServiceNow platform.
  • yze current processes and recommend improvements to optimize ServiceNow functionality and user experience.

Platform Implementation & Configuration:
  • Implement and configure ServiceNow Enterprise modules such as Incident Problem Change Service Catalog and Knowledge Management.
  • Customize workflows forms and interfaces using ServiceNow s configuration tools (Flow Designer Workflow Editor).
  • Configure dashboards and reports for realtime monitoring and performance tracking.

Monitoring & Support:
  • Provide daytoday monitoring of the ServiceNow platform ensuring ility and optimal performance within the Enterprise Service Desk environment.
  • Trouble and resolve ServiceNow issues and bugs.
  • ist users with platform navigation functionality and other support tasks as required.

Automation & Enhancements:
  • Identify opportunities for automation within the ServiceNow platform to streamline processes ticket routing and ignment.
  • Configure automated workflows and scripts to enhance the functionality of the platform.

User Training & Doentation:
  • Provide training to endusers and technical staff on new features and enhancements.
  • Maintain comprehensive doentation for platform configurations workflows and processes.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s degree in computer science Information Systems or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 8 years of experience in ServiceNow administration including implementation configuration and support.

Technical Ss:
  • Proficient in ServiceNow administration and implementation across various ITSM modules.
  • Experience with ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript Glide API Business Rules UI Policies etc.).
  • Familiarity with integrations using REST/SOAP APIs within the ServiceNow platform.
  • Handson experience with platform monitoring troubleing and system upgrades.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator.
  • ITIL Foundation certification.

Preferred Ss:
  • Additional ServiceNow certifications (e.g. ITSM Implementation Specialist) are a plus.
  • Prior federal experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of IT et Management (ITAM) and Configuration Management Database (CMDB) modules.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping modules.
  • Strong ytical problemsolving and organizational ss.

Bachelor s degree and 7 years of experience, Master's degree and 5 years of experience, or 11 years of experience in lieu of a degree At least 4 years experience using customer-focused Splunk Enterprise Security SIEM engineering background - SME knowledge of ES v4.7 At least 4 years experience in a senior Splunk role working in a Splunk clustered environment supporting SOC or NOC environments At least 4 years of experience with: In-depth knowledge of designing, upgrading, maintaining and implementing network devices on a large-scale enterprise Direct experience with Splunk Engineering and data integration Prior SIEM data modelling experience on similar platform at scale (>50 servers) Scripting and development ss in Python/Perl with deep comprehension of regular expressions Coordination and communication with other remotely deployed team members Developing doentation with processes and procedures Proposing, implementing automation features in a large enterprise environment At least 3 years of experience with Linux and SQL/ODBC interfaces At least 2 years of experience in app interface development, using REST API s Hold active Splunk Core Certifications of at least Splunk Architect Minimum of 3 year of experience in developing and tailoring reporting from network security tools. Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Public Trust clearance Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with these ss will be given preferential consideration. Experience with Splunk Common Information Model (CIM) and Enterprise ytic Strong problem-solving abilities with an ytic and qualitative eye for reasoning under pressure. Self-starter with the ability to independently prioritize and complete multiple tasks with little to no supervision Knowledge of Cloud Services such as AWS, Azure, Office365 Ability to script in one more of the following computer languages Python, Bash, Visual Basic or Powers Experience in automating Splunk Deployments and orchestration with in a Cloud environment Benefits: Holiday Benefit- 10 Holidays per year.
