Job Description
What you will be doing:
Conduct comprehensive patient essments including medical history and physical examinations.
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses injuries and infections.
Develop and implement patient management plans record progress notes and ist in the provision of continuity of care.
Prescribe medications and other treatments as necessary.
Educate and counsel patients on health maintenance disease prevention and treatment options.
Perform minor surgical procedures and ist in major surgeries as needed.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work and imaging studies.
Collaborate with physicians nurses and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.
Participate in community outreach programs and health education initiatives.
Maintain accurate and uptodate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
Experience you will need:
Masters degree in Physician istant Studies (MPAS) from an accredited program.
Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician istants (NCCPA).
Valid state license to practice as a Physician istant in New Hampshire.
Minimum of 3 years of direct primary care experience.
Strong clinical ss and knowledge of primary care practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal ss.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Commitment to providing highquality patientcentered care.
