Job Description
Ever since its foundation in 1998 DSS Consulting has been specializing in the development of business intelligence systems ytical solutions as well as custom software. We have also been pioneers of the Hungarian IT market in Data Mining and Data Quality urance. Thanks to our experience of more than 20 years as independent consultants we have been focusing on choosing the best solution for each problem that our customers deal with.
Main tasks responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of 13 engineers in Hungary
- Guide team in technical decisions stakeholder management and priorities
- Coordinate with global IT teams (NL Poland etc.)
- Oversee a Microsoftbased infrastructure (PowerS .NET IIS SQL etc.)
- Manage incidents and problems following ITIL standards using ServiceNow
- Implement and optimize automation tools (Azure DevOps identity management OS patching)
- Identify areas for automation to improve efficiency
- Manage hybrid environments (Windows Linux VMware Azure)
- ilize current infrastructure and plan for future cloud/containerization
- Ensure compliance with security standards using monitoring tools (Proeus Grafana)
- Maintain uptime for critical applications with strict SLAs
- Participate in oncall rotations to manage critical incidents
- Lead nonfunctional operations during major issues
Expected knowledge ss:
- 7 years in IT operations with leadership roles
- Strong experience with Microsoft tech stack web servers and databases
- Knowledge of ITIL incident and service management
- Experience with Azure automation tools and hybrid infrastructure
- Familiar with IT security and monitoring tools
- Intermediate English knowleddge both written and verbal
- ITIL certification preferred.
- Cloud (Azure) or automation tool certifications are a plus.
