Job Description
As a Test Engineer you will be responsible for planning and implementing of automated tests that prove the functional and nonfunctional requirements of the system. You will be involved in the testing of our software solutions and youll collaborate with our software development team to realise our Digital Transformation.
Specific responsibilities of the job
- Test and prove that the software meets major architectural requirements
- Prove for security scalability and performance of our software
- Ensuring the quality of the system as a whole
- Develop and automate tests for software validation
- Detect bug issues
- Prepare defect reports and report test progress
- Evaluate and define new improvement opportunities.
Ideal character of the candidate
- Critical thinking and problemsolving ss are essential.
- You love and have a deep understanding of QA.
- You understand the uses and ods of testing.
- In order to handle last minute change of priorities pressure and tight deadlines you need to be flexible and effective.
- You are capable of quickly mastering new techniques.
- You have excellent communication and collaboration ss and you know how to influence negotiate and present information to engage others and get the job done.
Education and experience
- Computer Science or similar education.
- Proven working experience as a Software Test Engineer
- Test automation is a plus
- Experience with relational databases.
- ISTQB certification is a plus.
- Experience with Azure is a plus.
- Transport/Logistics industry experience is a plus.
Knowledge and ss
- Excellent knowledge in testing ss (design test plan and test strategy writing test cases executing test cases opening bugs verifying bugs).
- Good level in SQL/database.
- Knowledge of Agile / SCRUM process.
- Good knowledge of API and microservices testing tools postman or similar.
- Experience with using JIRA as defect management tool
- Excellent command in spoken and written English
