PROJECT NAME OTSS PROJECT DETAILS The Mississippi Department of Education has a current goal for every community to effectively use a WorldCl Data System to improve student outcomes. This goal has an outcome to increase the availability of quality data to drive decisions that improve student outcomes. We are planning to satisfy this goal in part by modernizing our current student information system along with improving the quality of data in connected systems. This will include webbased application development and creation of dashboards and reports that will improve access accuracy and ease of use for all stakeholders.
JOB DESCRIPTION The SharePoint Administrator will be responsible for designing maintaining and guiding the progression of SharePoint to leverage optimal workflows that are aligned to achieve organizational business goals and objectives.
REQUIRED DEGREE
Bachelors degree in MIS Computer Science or equivalent or 5 years of experience using SharePoint. Advanced knowledge of business process ysis and function specification. Experience working with and communicating crossfunctional groups (development QA production stakeholders etc)
REQUIRED SS/EXPERIENCE #
Thorough understanding and hands on experience using Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL)
Thorough understanding and hands on experience using Microsoft SharePoint Server 2016
Thorough understanding and hands on experience using Active Directory and Azure Active Directory
Thorough understanding of best practices regarding farm design and security permissions
Experience with migrating from onprem SharePoint to SharePoint Online
Experience with ADFS Azure AD Connect and modern authentication ods such as OAuth
