PLC Software Engineer

Are you pionate about contributing to a leading international company specializing in automated loading and unloading systems Do you enjoy creating customized systems Then this position might be for you. As a Software Engineer you will be responsible for developing innovative systems and ensuring their functionality at (international) customers. You will support field engineers and technicians and provide telephone support to customers during breakdowns.

Job Description:

You play a crucial role in the development process of our products from design to delivery. You design PLC software and test it in our workshop. You support field engineers in testing and adjusting systems and provide telephone support to technicians for questions or breakdowns. You maintain contacts with suppliers customers and external installation partners in an international context. You work together with the engineering team and other departments to successfully complete each project.

What we ask:

We are looking for someone with experience in manufacturing who gets energy from working on and seeing the end product of our systems. Expected qualifications include:

• An MBO or HBO degree in Electrical Engineering or Industrial Automation.
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of TIA Portal V16 and HMI systems.
• Willingness to travel internationally for projects.

Responsibilities:
