Job Description
Job Title: Project Coordinator Wind Turbine Construction
Location: Palm Beach Gardens Florida (with up to 25% travel)
Position Overview:
An experienced Project Coordinator is needed to support a lead Project Manager in executing Wind Turbine construction projects and various technical/engineering initiatives. This is an officebased role with occasional travel to project sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- ist in the planning and of wind turbine construction and technical projects.
- Maintain and update project schedules using Smartsheet and other project management tools.
- Coordinate with external vendors to ensure material availability and project progress align with timelines and budgets.
- Conduct regular status meetings with internal stakeholders to report on project progress.
- Organize and facilitate prebid and preconstruction meetings.
- Travel to project sites for task oversight and participate in onsite inspections.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or a relevant field or equivalent construction experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of project coordination experience in the construction or renewables industry.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Experience with project management software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
- Proficiency in PM scheduling software such as Microsoft Project or Smartsheet.
- Technical background with knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems and field construction techniques.
