What project we have for you
We are looking for a sed Driver and preferably a combination of ss of Driver and Middle Manual Test Engineer with a clear understanding of SDLC and testing theory. Seasoned in testing practice with good investigation ss to join our team in its work on IVI automotive project onsite. The client is willing to have the driver onsite (with QA experience) and the QA engineer (2 persons) who will perform field testing using a preproduction prototype car with a newgeneration IVI system.
Tasks
What you will do
- Attending daily briefings before test drives.
- Uploading updated software to the test car.
- Performing daily/evening static or dynamic test drives.
- Performing weekend static or dynamic test drives by additional customer request.
- Executing test plans/test suites.
- Recording traces and providing proper time markers for defect ysis.
- Producing Test Reports/Test Summary Reports after test drives.
- Creating defect reports directly after a test drive in internal BTS or customer KPM system.
- Creating Test cases/suites/plans for testing needs.
- Supporting the engineering team by testing devdrops.
- Providing immediate feedback or rectifications to the Tickets Coordinator FO Program Lead etc requests.
- Collaborating with a car manufacturer or IVI system development team.
Requirements
What you need for this
- Driver license of category B.
- At least 4 years of experience as a Test Engineer.
- Automotive experience of at least 3 years.
- Field testing experience.
- Proven proficiency in the creation of test reports and defects.
- Solid experience in Test case creation.
- Understanding of SDLC and testing theory.
- German work permit.
- Very good communication ss in English.
- Flexibility in working schedule. Shifted working hours are expected. Begin after 14:00.
Nice to have:
- Prototype drivers license.
- High Voltage training.
