Job Description
Our client is a professional construction and project management company in Thailand.
Position: QS Engineer
Type of Hiring: 10 Months Contract (Renew)**Under Vinarco
Working Hours: 5/6 Days/Week 8:00 17:00
Location: Construction Site Samut Prakan
Responsibilities:
- Cost planning and commercial management are required throughout the projects life cycle from beginning to completion.
- Involves in budgeting cash flow and cost control claims processing contract payments and final account settlement.
- Control design and/or construction changes and adjust budget estimates accordingly.
- Negotiating construction contracts and resolving contractual issues
- Involve/Concerned with project risk essment and financial management.
- Elish and maintain professional relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
- Ensuring that all stakeholders understand and comply with contractual obligations.
- Ensuring that all parties (such as the engineer supplier subcontractor and construction team) understand the cost estimate financial aspects and implications of a contract.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying Construction Management Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in cost estimation techniques including unit rates elemental costing and parametric estimating.
- Ability to accurately measure quantities of materials and works.
- Understanding of various contract types (e.g. lump sum cost plus fee) and their implications.
- Knowledge of different valuation ods such as interim valuations and final accounts.
- Ss to negotiate with contractors and suppliers to achieve favorable terms.
- Familiarity with constructionspecific software.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with project teams including architects engineers and contractors.
- Good command of English.
