Job Description
Role: Sr. Functional/Technofunctional Lead SAP FICO
Location: Remote. (Can work remotely from any location in US)
We are seeking an SAP FICO Functional Consultant to support our IT Team. The functional consultant will be responsible for yzing the business needs of the operations area with the primary purpose of eliciting highlevel requirements capturing business needs identifying problems configuring and proposing solutions.
Job Description and Requirements:
The SAP FICO Functional Consultant is expected to have
* Extensive SAP Knowledge: A deep understanding of specific SAP modules (such as SAP S/4HANA SAP Fiori SAP FI GL AP AR Treasury SAP CO Product Costing etc.) is crucial. Consultants should be wellversed and hands on in modulespecific functionalities and integration points with MM SD and PP. Ability to understand the business requirements configure the system create POC and proactively suggest solutions and best practices are needed for this role
* Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with the industry or business domain (e.g. Media Banking Telecommunications) is valuable. Consultants need to understand client requirements and translate technical information into nontechnical terms for effective communication.
* Communication and Presentation Ss: SAP functional consultants often interact with clients. Clear communication both written and verbal is essential. Consultants should be adept at explaining complex concepts to nontechnical stakeholders
* Teamwork and Interpersonal Ss: Collaboration within teams and across departments is critical. Good interpersonal ss facilitate effective problemsolving and project delivery
The SAP FICO Functional Consultant (FC) will work as a liaison between the IT and the igned business units to yze communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes and policies. In addition the FC will focus on improving how the business operates by applying best practices to the individual business area. This may be done via SAP ERP Process Improvement or through other ods.

* Identify business process improvement opportunities.
* Productively working with and influencing the business area.
* Participate in future SAP Discover Build Test and Deploy activities.
* Identify and define business requirements with outcome criteria and metrics.
* Map business processes.
* Configure the system
* Provide POC and Demos
* Identify and resolve issues.
* Translate conceptual user requirements into functional requirements clearly comprehensible to project team and implementation consultants.
* Maintain training doentation.
* Train users on proper usage of the SAP system.
* Support Domestic and international affiliates with future SAP deployments as scheduled.
* Qualifications:
* Requires a minimum ociate or bachelors degree in business administration computer science finance information systems or similar field or equivalent work experience.
* A minimum of 8 12 years FICO experience is preferred.
* Experience with supporting and enhancing SAP S/4HANA preferred At least 3 S/4 Hana implementations
* Experience with SAP FICO strongly preferred AMS / New implementations
* IT domain experience preferably in three or more of the following areas: SAP configuration testing preparation of functional specs working with developers on enhancements and new functionality. A/P A/R banking product costing credit fixed ets general ledger internal orders OpenText sales tax project systems.
* Must have above average ability to communicate both in writing and orally.
* Must be selfmotivated to work independently.
* Must be able to drive collaboration among different personalities and departments.
* Experience in converting business requirements and functional requirements to use cases and user stories with acceptance criteria.
* Demonstrated ability to engage both developers and business partners to achieve target outcomes.
* Must be willing to work flexible hours when required.
* Must be dependable and punctual.
* Willingness to work onsite required.
* Willingness to travel domestically or internationally on occasion.
