Job Description
Senior Customer Engineer Server Focused
Cape Town Northern Suburbs
Start: ASAP
Fluent in both Afrikaans and English
Own transport
Reside in Cape Town
You will be isting engineers with various tasks like design construction equipment installation system configuration maintenance developing preventative maintenance plans and providing customer support. You should also be able to trouble systems identify problems and write up reports. 1ST 2ND AND 3RD Line Support.
QUALIFICATIONS
Grade 12 Certificate
CompTIA A and N
CCNA/CCNPMCITP/MCSE on Windows Server 2012Microsoft 365 Administration
Microsoft Azure Certification
Vendor Certifications (HPE DELL LENOVO IBM etc)
REQUIREMENTS
36 years minimal IT experience
2 years minimal experience in an enterprise server environment with administration and problem resolution of Windows Server
2 years minimum experience in virtualised workloads (VMWare / HyperV)
Extensive knowledge of
Desktops Laptops printers Network Copiers
Microsoft 365 Suite (Licensing Products Services)
Windows 10 & 11 Operating Systems
Redundancy Strategies (RAID HA Failover MPIO)
Hyper Visors (VMWARE HyperV Azure)
Windows Server 2012 Operating Systems
Active Directory DNS DHCP RDS Roles and including functions within the roles
Installation and Configuration of Exchange / SQL Server
Basic Scripting Tasks for Large Scale Deployments
LAN / WAN Solutions Networking (VLAN Routing Switching)
ITIL processes and experience adhering to them in a production environment
Remote Monitoring Systems
SAN Storage Management Pub
Services (DNS Public IPs Subnetting)
Firewall Management (ACL Zones NAT)
