Our client is a management consulting and business advisory firm providing toptier advisory and technical services to philanthropic foundations international organizations donors governments nonprofits and corporations on strategy policy and program implementation.
Job Summary
Our client is a management consulting and business advisory firm providing toptier advisory and technical services to philanthropic foundations international organizations donors governments nonprofits and corporations on strategy policy and program implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the implementation of the OPTINUP program and initiatives within the state.
- Ensure alignment of program activities with state and national food processing objectives.
- Monitor program progress and provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Promote the adoption of advanced food processing technologies and operations excellence among the partner MSMEs.
- Provide technical support and guidance on the implementation of technology solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in food processing technology and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards within the food processing sector.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including MSMEs government agencies industry partners and other service providers.
- Provide ongoing support and mentorship to local businesses to improve their operational efficiency and product quality
- Collect and yze data on program performance market trends and industry needs.
- Identify and mitigate risks ociated with food processing activities within the state.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Food Science Food Technology Agricultural Engineering or a related field
- Advanced degree (MSc Food Science MSc. Food Technology MBA MSc. Project Management etc.) preferred.
- Minimum of 35 years of experience in food processing food technology or a related field preferably within the agriculture or food nutrition sector in Nigeria.
- Proven track record of successfully managing food systems and nutrition programs or projects.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and standards.
- Excellent project management organizational communication and interpersonal ss.
- Proficiency in data collection and ysis.
- Strong leadership and decisionmaking abilities.
