Retail Store Manager

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Manager to lead and manage the operations of their store. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the store meets or exceeds its sales goals delivers exceptional customer service and operates efficiently. The Retail Store Manager will oversee all aspects of the store including staff management inventory control visual merchandising and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or in a similar role.
• Strong leadership and team management ss.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication ss.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Proficient in retail management software and pointofsale (POS) systems.
• Knowledge of retail operations including sales ysis visual merchandising and inventory management.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Hire train and manage store staff.
• Create work schedules to ensure the store is properly staffed.
• Lead and motivate the team to meet sales goals.
• Ensure customers have a great shopping experience.
• Handle customer complaints and solve issues quickly.
• Encourage the team to provide excellent service.
• Set sales targets and work with the team to meet them.
• Monitor sales performance and suggest improvements.
• Implement strategies to increase foot traffic and customer loyalty.
• Oversee daily store operations to ensure everything runs smoothly.
• Manage stock levels and reduce product loss.
• Ensure the store follows safety and cleanliness standards.
• Ensure the store looks neat and displays are appealing.
• Set up promotional displays as directed by the head office.
• Manage store expenses and work within budget limits.
• Handle cash payments and store finances accurately.
