SAP ILM

We are seeking an experienced SAP ILM Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SAP Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) and will be responsible for implementing managing and optimizing SAP ILM solutions. This role involves working closely with various departments to ensure data is managed effectively securely and in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Identification:Identify data which can be targeted for Archiving by working closely with customer.
• Implement SAP ILM:Design configure and implement SAP ILM solutions tailored to the organizations needs focusing on data archiving retention and destruction.
• Configure Jobs:Configure Jobs to transfer data from SAP to the configured Directory.
• Compliance Management:Ensure that data management practices comply with legal and regulatory requirements including GDPR HIPAA and other data protection laws.
• Data Archiving and Retention:Develop and implement data archiving and retention policies to optimize storage costs and improve system performance while ensuring data accessibility.
• System Integration:Work closely with IT and other relevant departments to integrate SAP ILM with other SAP modules and thirdparty applications.
• Performance Optimization:Monitor and optimize the performance of SAP ILM solutions to ensure efficient data management and retrieval.
• User Training and Support:Provide training and support to endusers and IT staff on SAP ILM functionalities and best practices.
• Documentation:Create and maintain comprehensive documentation on SAP ILM processes configurations and guidelines.
• Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:Identify analyze and resolve issues related to SAP ILM to ensure smooth operations.
• Continuous Improvement:Stay updated with the latest SAP ILM features and best practices and recommend improvements to existing processes and systems.

Requirements:

• Technical Skills:Proficiency in SAP ILM SAP Data Archiving SAP NetWeaver and SAP Basis.Knowledge of ABAP is a plus.
• Compliance Knowledge:Familiarity with data privacy regulations and compliance standards (e.g. GDPR HIPAA).
• Analytical Skills:Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to think critically about system performance and optimization.
• Communication Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical information to nontechnical stakeholders.
• Certifications:SAP ILM certification or relevant SAP certifications are preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other SAP modules (e.g. SAP S/4HANA SAP ECC).
• Knowledge of database management and data security best practices.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
