Are you an experienced Compliance Officer looking for your next challenge
A global fintech company is seeking a Senior Compliance Officer to join its Limassol office. This is one of the most exciting fintech jobs in Cyprus perfect for professionals with a strong background in regulatory compliance within the financial services industry.
Responsibilities:
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry updates.
- Develop implement and maintain compliance policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues.
- Monitor daily operations for adherence to internal policies and external regulations.
- Develop and deliver compliance training programs for employees.
- Oversee KYC due diligence checks.
- Ensure staff are informed of and adhere to compliance responsibilities.
- Identify and mitigate compliance risks.
- Investigate and resolve compliance breaches.
- Collaborate with other departments for a unified compliance approach.
- Communicate compliance guidelines across the organization.
- Maintain comprehensive records of compliance activities.
- Ensure documentation is auditready and available for inspections.
- Advise and support the Compliance team on compliance and AML matters.
- Prepare and amend company documents (e.g. templates).
- Review investigate and assist in resolving client complaints.
- Provide guidance on legal compliance for investment services.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Law Finance Economics Business or related field.
- 4 years experience as a Compliance Officer or similar role in financial services.
- CySEC Advanced CySEC AML or ACAMS certificates are an advantage.
- Experience with CySEC FSA FSCA VFSC or FSC is a plus.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
- Detailoriented and able to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
