Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Design build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for applications built with React APIs SQL databases RabbitMQ Kafka and other related technologies.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand their needs and implement automation solutions to improve deployment efficiency and reliability.
- Monitor and manage the health performance and security of the CI/CD pipelines and associated infrastructure.
- Implement and manage infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform Ansible or similar.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to build failures deployment errors and infrastructure problems.
- Ensure the scalability and reliability of the infrastructure supporting development and production environments.
- Automate routine tasks and processes to reduce manual intervention and improve overall operational efficiency.
- Maintain and enhance monitoring and logging systems to provide insights into application performance and pipeline health.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to improve the software delivery process and ensure continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role with a focus on CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure management.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD practices and tools (e.g. Jenkins GitLab CI CircleCI etc.).
- Experience with building and managing pipelines for technologies such as React APIs SQL databases RabbitMQ and Kafka.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g. Bash Python) and automation tools (e.g. Terraform Ansible).
- Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g. Docker Kubernetes).
- Strong knowledge of monitoring logging and alerting tools (e.g. Prometheus Grafana ELK Stack).
- Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git) and managing branching and merging strategies.
- Familiarity with database management and optimization particularly with SQL databases.
- Experience with microservices architecture and related tooling.
- Knowledge of message brokers and stream processing platforms (RabbitMQ Kafka etc.).
- Familiarity with security best practices in CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure.
- Experience in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Strong problemsolving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a distributed environment.
