• The Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for planning and designing the services and solutions in collaboration with the service provider and mapping the business requirements to systems/technical requirements to ensure they are in line with Standards Architecture quality and security requirements.
• A focus of the role will be IT Infrastructure in the OT context (shopfloor building management systems laboratory systems etc.).
• This position operates within the IT Infrastructure function and serves as a technical engineer spanning various infrastructure domains.
• As a member of the Global Infrastructure team this role offers support to all sites.
• The position ensures service provider quality by managing relevant services through definition of KPIs SLAs and associated measurements and reporting.
• Furthermore the role holder ensures that good IT practices including good Documentation practices IT security and change management practices are constantly adhered to.

• Bachelors in Information Technology is required and Masters is preferred
• Can drive cultural and technological disruption
• Experience performing cross technical Root cause analysis and define associated measures.
• Extensive experience with Cisco switches and Wireless controllers
• Proficiency in hypervisors such as Vsphere and AHV
• Knowledge of infrastructure and testing as code (e.g. Kubernetes Docker Podman)
• Seniorlevel knowledge of Linux and Windows Server
• Experience with automation of infrastructure tasks
• Familiarity with Active Directory and backup technologies (e.g. Veeam Acronis)
• Understanding of disaster recovery principles
• Proficiency in PowerShell/Bash scripting
• Basic skills in Citrix and Windows Remote Desktop Services
• Ability to work independently and make educated decisions to provide quick solutions to problems
• Ability to prioritize and quickly resolve issues
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
• Effective prioritization and project management skills
• Ability to anticipate risks and devise solutions in the moment
• Deep technical infrastructure knowledge
• Understand ITIL model and metrics for Service Delivery
