Job Description
Location Remote or Bay Area
Position: Data Analyst
Type: Contract
In this position you will be part of Business Insights team assisting with:
Develop and optimize data architecture to support the data needs of our rapidly
growing business
Explore data and generate insights such as pattern seasonality trend cause &
effect Relationships etc.
Write complex and efficient queries to transform raw data sources into easily
accessible models by coding across several languages such as Python Snowflake
and SQL
Architect build and launch new data models that provide intuitive analytics to the
team
Build data expertise and own data quality for the pipelines you create
Build and Maintain Data Quality dashboards using Tableau
Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater data quality maturity in our
data systems
Communication with internal team members and stakeholders in other time zones for
the purpose of requirements clarification and progress reporting
WHAT YOULL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...
8 years relevant experience in data management
Experience with SQL ETL Python
Experience with BI tools such as Tableau
Excellent skills with Excel modeling and presentations.
Strong ability to understand and explain compelling stories behind data
Strong mindset to combine business understanding with technical skills to arrive at
decision making
Selfstarter and Innovative problemsolving attitude required
Strong proficiency with SQL and the ability to process/interpret large volumes of data
Strong plus to have a working knowledge of Salesforce and/or NetSuite
Excellent communication (verbal and written)
Strong team player and results driven.
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent field
