JOB TITLE: Avionics Installer II
LOCATION: Savannah GA

Summary:
-
Under minimal supervision assists with the removal and installation of avionics electrical components fabrication of wire harnesses and conducting functional tests of avionics/electrical systems.
-
Support installation modification and fabrication of wiring and electrical components per blueprints and engineering drawings.
-
Maintain required logs and records completing tasks within specified time frames.
-
Ensure all work meets regulatory requirements and customer specifications.
-
Check all work for defectfree assembly before final inspection.
-
Comply with the company FOD program tool control program 5S program and safety regulations.

Maintain a clean work area and properly care for shop equipment and tools.
-
Participate in continuous improvement activities (e.g. YIAW Kaizen events).
Required Skills:
-
High School Diploma or GED required.
-
Two (2) years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics or two (2) years of related work experience or an avionics certificate with one (1) year of related experience.

Knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and customer specifications.

Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
-
Basic computer skills and software knowledge required.
