JOB SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Sales Manager the Sales Coordinator should be able to handle all queries related to sea air overland freight for import / export shipments for various customers by following up and arranging required services routing by coordinating with overseas agents shipping lines airlines and customs clearance teams by guiding the team for smooth of jobs. Should assist and enable by raising the standards of organizational operations and provide cost effective services.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Guide the team on daytoday operations requirements.
Update respective customers with shipment status reports on a weekly basis or whenever required.
Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve any operation issues.
Coordinate with the vendors to make sure customers requirements are fulfilled in timely manner.
Coordinate with operation team to assure day to day of jobs.
To make sure that system is always updated with all the available information and data.
To maintain reporting to line manager with ongoing jobs and recommend solutions to streamline the operations.
Register new clients in CW1 and update all information about their orders.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
Preferably Kuwaiti National
Minimum qualification of bachelors degree with proven work experience in the same position.
3 plus years of experience in a relevant role.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications including Word PowerPoint Excel Outlook and ERP systems.
Interest and experience in interacting with all levels and departments.
Well versed with freight forwarding operations of air sea and all land routes and borders to GCC and relevant areas and business terminologies and procedures.
Strong organizational skills detail oriented and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
Valid Kuwait Driving License shall be considered as additional skill.
