Job Description
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Repair maintain install and troubleshoot industrial equipment such as washers dryers steam tunnels conveyor systems and boilers.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Conduct various welding activities including MIG TIG ARC cutting and brazing.
- Perform boiler chemical testing and make necessary chemistry adjustments.
- Resolve safety concerns promptly and effectively.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of both indoor and outdoor work areas.
- Manage and maintain inventory of supplies.
- Prepare and maintain maintenance records accurately.
- Oversee work performed by both internal and external service companies.
- Respond to emergency alarms and situations.
- Mentor and guide Maintenance Technician I partners.
Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or the military.
- Ability to read and comprehend maintenance literature in English.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints.
- Basic skills in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to stand for up to 7 hours in an 8hour shift.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of boiler operations.
- HVAC experience.
- Experience with and ability to perform welding activities.
