Position Overview:
Join our team as a Conveyor Belt Maintenance Technician where youll play a crucial role in keeping our industrial conveyor systems running smoothly. This position offers the opportunity to perform handson repairs conduct routine inspections and implement preventive measures to ensure minimal downtime and maximum efficiency. Youll work closely with a supportive maintenance team and production staff to uphold safety standards and maintain topnotch performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular inspections of conveyor belt systems to spot and address issues early.
- Diagnose and fix mechanical electrical and hydraulic problems quickly and efficiently.
- Repair and adjust conveyor components including belts rollers pulleys motors and bearings.
- Follow a preventive maintenance schedule for lubrication bolt tightening and component replacement.
- Adhere to safety regulations and ensure equipment is always compliant with workplace standards.
- Keep detailed maintenance records including inspections repairs and parts inventory.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team production staff and suppliers to solve complex issues.
- Respond swiftly to emergency maintenance requests to reduce downtime.
- Provide training and support to operators on conveyor maintenance and safety.
- Proactively suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
