Contract: 13 weeks
Salary: $112.00 per hour
8hour shifts
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Cath lab nurse for a temporary 3month contract in Rock Island IL. As a member of our team you will have the opportunity to work in a stateoftheart facility and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preprocedure assessments including reviewing patient history and medications and obtaining informed consent
Monitor patients during procedures including vital signs EKG and hemodynamic status
Administer medications and IV fluids as ordered by the physician
Assist with the insertion and removal of catheters and other equipment
Collaborate with the physician and team to ensure the safe and effective completion of procedures
Provide postprocedure care and education to patients and their families
Document all aspects of patient care accurately and timely
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures as well as state and federal regulations
Qualifications:
Active RN license in the state of Illinois
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cardiac cath lab setting
BLS and ACLS certification
Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in electronic medical records
Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed
