Job Description:
- Manage oversee and to ensure effective daily operations of the accounting department which shall include but not limit to:
- month end quarter end and year end accounts reporting
- accounts payable/receivable
- general ledger
- payroll and utilities
- budgeting and forecast monitoring
- reporting
- cash flow
- ensuring correct stock balance records and monitoring stock levels
- revenue and expenditure variance analysis
- balance sheet reconciliations
- Develop and implement financial strategies and plans to support company objectives.
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements and reports.
- Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and address any findings.
- Supervise and mentor finance team.
- Ensure the team adheres to financial policies and procedures.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Monitor financial transactions and identify and address any discrepancies.
- Support strategic decisionmaking by providing financial insights and analysis.
- Communicate financial information and performance to internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other departments to support crossfunctional initiatives and projects.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma / Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or a related field.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia especially in Mandarin.
- 5 years and above of experience in financial & accounting field or a similar role experience in manufacturing is advantage.
- Proven experience in team management.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software familiar with SAP / Oracle / ERP systems is advantage.
Salary Range:
- From RM7000 to RM9000
