About the Role:
Were on the hunt for a Corporate M&A and Private Equity Associate to join our clients corporate practice in New York or Boston. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of private equity transactional experience and expertise in acquisitions divestitures mergers joint ventures and fund formation. AM Law 100 Requirement:
To be considered for this role candidates must have recently worked at one of the AM Law 100 firms. To verify if your firm qualifies please check this AM Law 100 list. Only candidates who have worked at these top firms will be considered for this opportunity.
Your Mission:
- Work on acquisitions divestitures mergers joint ventures and other private equity transactions.
- Provide legal services to private equity funds financial institutions and global commingled funds.
- Collaborate with a national corporate team to support complex corporate transactions.
- Manage transactions and work efficiently both independently and within a team environment.
- Provide exceptional client service ensuring that business goals are met through legal solutions.
Core Competencies:
- Private Equity Transactional Expertise: Strong experience handling private equity transactions including mergers and acquisitions fund formation and portfolio management.
- Corporate Legal Services: Ability to advise on all aspects of commercial financial and industrial transactions.
- ClientCentric Approach: Commitment to delivering highquality client service while managing complex corporate deals.
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively in team settings.
What You Bring:
- Juris Doctor (JD) or LLM from an ABAaccredited law school.
- Admitted or eligible for admission in New York or Massachusetts.
- 3 years of M&A and private equity transactional experience in a corporate law firm.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize meet deadlines and balance competing responsibilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in team settings.
Work Environment & Benefits:
- Competitive salary ranging from $260000 to $310000 plus bonus eligibility.
