About the Role:
We are looking for a QA Team Leadto lead a team in a fastpaced startup environment developing and executing both manual and automated tests to ensure product quality.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Review requirements specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
- Create detailed comprehensive and wellstructured test plans and test cases.
- Estimate prioritize plan and coordinate testing activities.
- Design develop and execute automation scripts using TypeScript and Playwright.
- Identify record document thoroughly and track bugs.
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products.
- Monitor debugging process results.
- Investigate the causes of nonconforming software and train users to implement solutions.
- Track quality assurance metrics like defect densities and open defect counts.
- Stay uptodate with new testing tools and test strategies.
- Utilize GitLab CI for integrating automated tests in the continuous integration pipeline.
The ideal candidate who you are and requirements:
- Fluent in Russian.
- English proficiency (minimum B1 level).
- Located in Cyprus is a BIG advantage.
- 2 years of team leadership experience preferably in a startup or fastpaced environment.
- Proven work experience in software quality assurance.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies tools and processes.
- Experience in writing clear concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Experience with automated testing tools.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting (advantageous).
- Familiar with Atlassian Stack (Jira Confluence) and CI tools.
- Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related subject is an advantage.
