We are seeking a Lithium Business Developer with experience in trading and selling lithium in the European market. This role will primarily focus on establishing the foundational strategies for our recycled lithium offerings and driving sales across various industries extending beyond just the battery sector.
Please be aware that tozero does not offer any remote (zero remote) we believe in building a strong culture at this stage of the company especially with engineers having to work onsite in the plant and lab.
Tasks
Establishing and executing strategies to sell recycled lithium across diverse industries in Europe
- Market Development: Identify and analyze target markets for recycled lithium sales focusing on outside of the battery industry and other sectors such as ceramics lubricants and glass manufacturing.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies for promoting our recycled lithium products ensuring alignment with market demands and pricing trends.
- Fundamental Setup: Work closely with crossfunctional teams to establish the necessary infrastructure for sales operations including pricing models sales processes and customer relationship management.
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with potential clients and industry partners effectively communicating the value and benefits of our recycled lithium products.
- Pricing Analysis: Monitor and analyze pricing movements in the lithium market to set competitive pricing structures for our products.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates to the senior leadership team on market trends customer feedback and sales performance.
Requirements
Proven track record in lithium sales
- You are a shark in negotiations always securing the best deal for tozero.
- Proven experience in business development sales or trading within commodities.
- Proven track record in selling lithium in the European market along with a strong understanding of pricing dynamics and market trends.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- A proactive and selfmotivated approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A background in chemistry materials science or related fields is a plus but not mandatory.
