We need a consultant who has both .NET and Workday experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analysis design and development of changes to align financial systems with the Foundation Data Model (FDM) including modifications to legacy chart of account (COA) formats.
- Make changes to computer programs databases user interfaces integrations and reporting for FDM compliance.
- Work with teams and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions aligned with business processes and system architecture.
- Perform necessary data migration/conversion update SSIS packages and ensure smooth transitions to the FDM.
- Engage in One Washingtons endtoend test cycle bug fixes and support for One Washington golive/stabilization.
Technical Skills:
- Minimum six years of experience with software development using .NET framework C# SQL WPF and WCF to modify and enhance existing financial applications.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server including SSRS and SSIS for data reporting and integration processes.
- Experience working with complex financial systems and knowledge of accounting principles with specific exposure to Workdays Foundation Data Model (FDM) or similar systems is highly desirable.
- Handson experience with data migration integrations and exchanges between disparate systems using SSIS or equivalent tools.
- Proficiency in UI technologies specifically WPF to modify user interfaces in line with new data models.
- Expertise in designing modifying and deploying financial reports using SSRS ensuring alignment with new FDM structures.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum six years of experience in software development with at least 3 years in a senior or technical lead role.
- Minimum four years of experience developing with Microsoft .NET ASP.NET C# MVC WPF WCF WinForms TSQL SSRS SSIS or other ETL processes.
- Proven track record of leading system remediation/development projects preferably involving financial systems.
- Previous experience working on Workday or similar ERP system integrations would be advantageous.
- Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM methodologies working in iterative development cycles and delivering regular updates to stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills to tackle complex technical challenges identify system bottlenecks and implement scalable solutions.
