Responsibilities:
Prepare and review complex individual and business tax returns including federal state and local taxes.
Manage multiple client accounts ensuring all tax filings are completed accurately and timely.
Communicate with clients to gather necessary information address concerns and provide expert tax advice.
Identify tax planning opportunities and recommend strategies to clients to minimize tax liabilities.
Perform thorough tax research and analysis on various tax issues.
Stay current with changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and to optimize tax strategies.
Cooperate and collaborate with other team members to provide superior and comprehensive client service.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in accounting or finance.
CPA license or Enrolled Agent designation preferred.
Current PTIN and ability to sign returns as the preparer.
Relevant work experience including at least 5 tax seasons with at least 2 years in a senior role.
Strong work ethic and attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft programs (Word Excel etc.).
Strong understanding of tax codes and regulations.
