Deskside Refresh TechnicianBroad knowledge of IT Technician and Asset Inventory functions with customer service skills
Receive equipment on the dock while completing all inbound quality checks
Install and configure applications on workstations
Installation of the computer which may include changing existing equipment docking stations power supplies video cables
Harvest the replaced equipment and return it to stock updating Asset Management for tracking purposes
Daily ITSM ticketing and asset management application navigation and use preferred
Accountable for communicating and basic training of new computers and their functions to client employees
Creates a data backuparchive for the environment components of the computers scheduled to be deinstalled and remove all computer software data files custom applications licensed software
Oversee computer device refreshes and replacements tracking damaged equipment to be replaced
Collaborate with IT leadership for largescale technology migration projects
Install and upgrade workstations for client employees providing remote or onsite education on basic usage security procedures and selftroubleshooting
Track deployment replacement and upgrade information across multiple departments and facilities
reimage and stock returned devices
The job performed onsite for laptop printer refresh and IT support Have basic knowledge of IT equipment including printers PCs iOS devices and common Microsoft software programs Office Outlook Word Excel and be able to work with a troubleticketing system SNOW Microsoft Support Center Service Manager Remedy
