Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Communications Writer to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for creating and editing content for various mediums including executive presentations talking points training documents newsletters web pages and video scripts. You will collaborate with subject matter experts to gather relevant information and ensure that it is translated into easily understandable language. Keeping uptodate with current trends and digital best practices you will engage and influence audiences through creative storytelling and the use of visual elements.

Responsibilities:

  1. Create and edit content for multiple mediums such as executive presentations talking points FAQs training documents newsletter copy web pages and video scripts.
  2. Conduct research and collaborate with subject matter experts to collect relevant information and translate it into easily understandable language.
  3. Stay uptodate on current trends innovations and digital best practices to engage and influence audiences effectively.
  4. Utilize storytelling techniques and visual elements to create messages that are easy to understand and resonate with audiences.
  5. Participate in various projects providing project management research and collaboration to address specific communications needs.
  6. Execute email communications using the Poppulo (or similar) email platform including drafting and loading content uploading distribution lists distributing emails and analyzing results.
  7. Update and maintain the Sharepoint site populating content within the new architecture establishing links to adjacent sites managing ownership and updates of page content analyzing metrics and collecting user feedback.
  8. Develop and execute integrated communications plans across multiple mediums including web social video email live events and collateral.
  9. Manage multiple project and communications timelines to meet daily weekly and monthly deadlines.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelors degree in communications marketing or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in content creation and editing for various mediums.
  3. Familiarity with current trends innovations and digital best practices in communications.
  4. Strong storytelling abilities and proficiency in using visual elements to enhance messages.
  5. Excellent research and collaboration skills with the ability to work with subject matter experts to gather information.
  6. Proficiency in using email platforms (such as Poppulo) for executing email communications.
  7. Experience in updating and maintaining websites using Sharepoint or similar platforms.
  8. Ability to develop and execute integrated communications plans across multiple mediums.
  9. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple timelines and meet deadlines.
