Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Manual QA Tester to join our team and lead quality assurance efforts
for our healthcare applications. As a Senior Manual QA Tester you will be responsible for
ensuring the quality and reliability of our healthcare software products. You will lead testing
initiatives mentor junior QA team members and collaborate closely with crossfunctional
teams to deliver exceptional solutions that meet regulatory standards and user needs.
Required Qualifications
Education: B.S Degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or related field or
equivalent work experience.
Experience: 5 to 8 years of manual QA testing experience specifically within the
healthcare domain.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g. JIRA
TFS TestRail); familiarity with SQL and basic scripting is a plus.
Healthcare Standards: Indepth understanding of healthcare standards and regulations
including HIPAA HL7 FDA EHRs and Clinical workflows
Leadership Qualities: Experience in leading testing efforts and mentoring junior team
members.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability
to articulate complex issues clearly to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans for complex healthcare
applications ensuring alignment with project requirements and compliance standards.
Perform thorough manual testing including functional regression and user acceptance
testing (UAT) to validate software performance and usability.
Identify document and prioritize defects providing detailed reports to developers and
ensuring timely resolution.
Work closely with product managers developers and other stakeholders to ensure clear
understanding of requirements.
Maintain accurate records of test cases test results and defect logs; prepare detailed
test summary reports for stakeholders.
Ensure that all testing activities comply with healthcare regulations and industry
standards such as HIPAA and FDA guidelines.
Mentor and guide junior QA testers to enhance their skills and effectiveness.
Demonstrate strong analytical and problemsolving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Advocate for best practices in testing methodologies and contribute to process
improvement initiatives within the QA team.
