Machine Builder
Walled Lake MI
1st shift MondayFriday
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL:
- Love to get their hands dirty be known as a gearhead
- Be able to prioritize and complete tasks to meet assigned deadlines
- Be a selfstarter able to complete tasks using their knowledge and skill
- Work as part of a team with other assemblers electricians and engineers to meet build requirements
- Has good mechanical skills light hydraulic and electrical is a plus but not needed
THE MACHINE BUILDER WILL:
- Install and assemble components and subassemblies onto machines according to blueprints and diagrams with instruction provided from experienced staff assisting in builds
- Assemble a variety of different machines according to specifications.
- Drill and tap holes in specified locations for mounting control units using and tools drill press and other applicable tools.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma a plus but not necessary
- 35 years machine assembler
- Have own tools
- Lift over 40 lbs
- Ability to read assembly drawings
- Work with team members this is a nonunion and nonautomotive facility
