About The Opportunity
Join our team as a Takeoff Engineer and leverage your expertise in Bluebeam and AGTEK software to make a significant impact on our projects. In this role youll review blueprints and construction specifications utilizing AGTEK takeoff software to identify material needs and cut/fill requirements. This position is perfect for those looking to advance in a dynamic environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
1. Blueprint Review: Analyze and interpret construction blueprints and specifications to determine project requirements and constraints.
2. Material Takeoff: Utilize AGTEK takeoff software to calculate material needs quantities and cut/fill requirements accurately.
3. Collaboration: Work closely with project managers and other team members to ensure alignment on project goals and specifications.
4. Data Management: Maintain organized records of takeoff calculations and materials lists for easy reference and reporting.
5. Quality Control: Conduct thorough checks of takeoff data to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
6. Project Support: Assist in preparing project bids and proposals by providing detailed takeoff information and insights.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of heavy civil industry experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word Outlook Excel
- Proficient in use of estimating software
- AGTEK & Bluebeam experience
- Able to read drawings and specifications
- Strong understanding of commercial construction industry practices and standards
- Knowledge of construction costs project budgeting vendor selection client proposals and owner/architect/general contractor industry expertise.
- Strong customer service orientation
- Strong organizational multitasking and planning skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
