Job Description

We are seeking a midlevel Product Compliance Officer (m/f/d) to strengthen our team taking on a leading role in ensuring our products meet regulatory requirements as we scale our innovations.
Tasks
Your Responsibilities:
- Ensure all productrelated legal and regulatory obligations are met across all markets and regions in which we operate.
- Continuously research and document applicable legal regulations standards and technical rules.
- Work closely with product development teams to establish and document product compliance requirements.
- Oversee the conformity assessment process ensuring product designs and features align with relevant standards.
- Validate and audit technical documentation and development processes for regulatory conformity.
- Act as the primary contact for compliancerelated inquiries including communication with authorities notified bodies and customer inquiries.
- Conduct employee training and advise on compliance best practices.
- Extract and interpret relevant criteria from EU harmonization laws (CE REACH WEEE) for internal processes.
- Develop and refine internal tools and resources to support compliance such as templates reports and checklists.
- Monitor product changes and regulatory updates assessing and documenting potential impacts on product compliance.
- Lead the standards management process (acquisition filing distribution and updates).
- Facilitate risk assessments and FMEAs in collaboration with crossfunctional teams to address regulatory concerns proactively.
Requirements
What you bring:
- A completed degree in engineering law or a comparable field with 35 years of experience in product compliance legal analysis or requirements management.
- Strong knowledge of technical regulations industry standards and regulatory processes.
- Demonstrated experience working with CE declarations product conformity or similar regulatory certifications.
- Solid experience with compliancerelated tools and document management systems.
- Highlevel proficiency in MS Office (Office 365) with the ability to transform unstructured data into organized actionable insights.
- Strong strategic thinking coupled with a detailoriented and analytical mindset.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to lead crossfunctional teams and influence stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
- Strong ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high level of quality and accuracy.
