Job Title: Procurement Officer (US Citizen Only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies in line with company goals.
- Source and evaluate suppliers negotiate contracts and establish supplier relationships.
- Manage purchasing activities including the preparation of purchase orders bid requests and supplier agreements.
- Ensure that materials and supplies meet the quality standards required by the organization.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate the delivery of goods and services to meet business needs.
- Review and analyze price proposals financial reports and other data to determine reasonable prices.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand procurement requirements and support project timelines.
- Maintain and update supplier records including product specifications delivery times and pricing.
- Monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual agreements and resolve any issues.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies procedures and regulations.
- Prepare reports on procurement activities cost savings and supplier performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- Experience in procurement purchasing or supply chain management.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes contract management and supplier negotiation.
- Experience in ERP systems and procurement software.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong organizational and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word Excel PowerPoint).
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
