Job Description
Overview
Key responsibilities
- Participate in the development and maintenance of databases
- Write and optimize SQL/MySQL queries
- Contribute to database design and data modeling
- Ensure data integrity and security
- Collaborate with the development team to integrate data from various systems
- Perform database administration tasks
- Optimize database performance through indexing and query optimization
- Support data migration transformation and scripting
- Participate in troubleshooting and resolving database issues
- Document database processes and procedures
- Stay updated with database technologies and best practices
- Contribute to the development and implementation of data standards and best practices
- Work on assigned projects and deliver within the specified timelines
- Communicate effectively with the team and other stakeholders

Required qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
- Strong understanding of SQL and MySQL
- Knowledge of database design and data modeling concepts
- Familiarity with database administration and optimization
- Understanding of data security and integrity principles
- Ability to write and optimize complex queries
- Knowledge of data migration transformation and scripting tools
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
- Relevant internships or projects demonstrating database development skills
