Overview
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior data analysts and engineers to collect and analyze large datasets.
- Develop and implement data collection systems and strategies to optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.
- Use statistical methods to analyze data and generate useful business reports.
- Design and create data visualizations and dashboards to aid in effective decisionmaking.
- Conduct data validation and cleansing to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Work on data mining and extraction projects using cuttingedge tools and technologies.
- Assist in creating and maintaining documentation for data processes and procedures.
- Identify patterns and trends in data sets to support organizational objectives.
- Collaborate across teams to gather and understand data requirements for various projects.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in data analysis and engineering.
Required qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Statistics Mathematics Engineering or related field.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python R or Java.
- Strong understanding of database management and querying using SQL.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau Power BI or D3.js.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and modeling techniques.
- Ability to work with big data technologies like Hadoop Spark or Hive.
- Excellent problemsolving and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts and tools is a plus.
- Understanding of data security and privacy protocols is desirable.
