Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute merchandising strategies to drive sales and achieve business objectives in alignment with company goals and customer preferences.
Manage the product assortment for assigned categories ensuring optimal selection pricing and presentation to meet customer needs and maximize profitability.
Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify emerging trends consumer preferences and competitor activities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers negotiating favorable terms and agreements to enhance product offerings and maintain competitive pricing.
Collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams including marketing sales operations and inventory management to ensure seamless of merchandising plans and initiatives.
Monitor sales performance inventory levels and key performance indicators (KPIs) and leverage data insights to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement.
Develop and implement promotional strategies pricing strategies and markdown plans to optimize sales minimize inventory risk and maximize margins.
Stay abreast of industry trends best practices and market dynamics and proactively identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
Education/Experience
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing Retail Management or related field.
24 years of progressive experience in merchandising category management or related roles within the retail industry.
Demonstrated success in developing and executing merchandising strategies to drive sales and profitability.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data analyze trends and make datadriven decisions.
Excellent negotiation communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with vendors and crossfunctional teams.
Strategic thinker with the ability to prioritize tasks manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive results in a fastpaced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel PowerPoint and other analytical tools.
